New England Neuropsychology, LLC

New England Neuropsychology is deeply committed to helping patients jump start meaningful change in their life through engagement in comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations and short term psychotherapy.

How do we work?

When people are referred for a neuropsychological or psychological evaluation, they are usually dissatisfied with some aspect of their everyday functioning.  For children and adolescents, this might mean that they are having trouble learning, paying attention, feeling happy and calm, sustaining friendships, or behaving to expectations.  Adults could be experiencing these same problems, but also might have noticed changes in their thinking or functioning, and want to better understand why they are having increased cognitive difficulty.  Additionally, people of any age may notice changes in thinking or behavior after an accident, injury, or illness.

Our job is to help figure out why any such difficulties have arisen, and then to help determine an appropriate plan.  Through a comprehensive evaluation process, we strive to not only figure out the root causes of academic, cognitive, emotional, behavioral and functional difficulty; we then work with our patients to create concrete recommendations  that are intended to guide them toward easier, more fulfilling lives.
